Description
The Eye Scarf represents the purity of the material — exclusively Portuguese wool, produced in Montemor-o-Novo by artisanal methods. The eye-shaped geometric pattern, much used in Alentejo blankets, gives it a character at once unique and simple. The zig-zag weft is another hallmark of rare pieces, hand-woven on the loom.
Dimensions: 0.70 × 1.40 m
Materials: Portuguese wool from Montemor
Production technique: Hand-woven on an artisan loom
Washing care: Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water (max. 30 °C) with a mild wool detergent. We recommend using fabric softener at first to soften the fibres, which grow softer with use.
Drying: Lay flat to dry in the shade — never machine-dry or dry in direct sunlight.
Storage: Folded, in a dry, well-aired place.
Note: Natural wool may shed small fibres in the first few washes — this is normal and lessens with use.
